Submission Guidelines

Submission Steps :
- All submissions must be made online through EasyChair at: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=tsae2025
- For a first-time user of EasyChair, please create an account prior to the submission.
- Please select the topic, which is closest to the contents of your article.
- Please ensure that a complete list of authors, affiliations, article title and other required information are correctly registered in the EasyChair registration page.
- Then your paper will be double-blinded reviewed by at least 3 independent reviewers from the Scientific Committee. Author will receive notification via email or EasyChair system if it has been reviewed by the reviewer. Furthermore, the author can find out if the paper needs revision. The author can revise the scientific paper according to the direction of the reviewer.
All presenters who wish to publish their papers in the E3S Web of Conferences proceedings are required to submit a full paper. All submissions will undergo an initial review by the Chair of the Conference to assess their suitability with the conference’s focus and scope. Submissions that pass this initial screening will subsequently be reviewed under a double-blind peer review process by at least three qualified reviewers prior to the presentation stage.
Peer Review
Submissions approved during the initial review will be assigned to referees based on their subject-matter expertise. Each submission will be evaluated by a minimum of three independent referees. Reviewers are expected to assess the submission based on criteria such as originality, methodological soundness, impact on design research, and relevance to design practices. To ensure a timely review process, referees are requested to complete and return their evaluations within two weeks. Upon receiving all reviewer reports, the Chair of the Conference will make a recommendation regarding the submission’s suitability for acceptance.
Acceptance Decision
Based on the referees’ comments, the Chair of the Conference will make a final decision and communicate it to the authors, along with the reviewers’ reports. The possible decisions are: “Accept Submission,” “Accept with Revisions Required,” or “Decline Submission.” Authors whose submissions require revisions must address all comments and resubmit a revised version accordingly with upload file response to the reviewer.

Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that their submissions contain less than 25% similarity with previously published work. The publisher reserves the right to reject any submission that does not comply with its plagiarism policy.
Copyright
The copyright is retained by the author(s) under the Creative Commons Attribution license, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
Authors grant EDP Sciences a license to publish their article and identify EDP Sciences as the original publisher. They also grant any third party the right to use, distribute and reproduce the article in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
Oral Presentation Guidelines:
1. Each presentation is allocated 15 minutes in total.
– 10 minutes for the presentation
– 5 minutes for the Q&A session
2. For online presenters, please submit a pre-recorded video of your presentation (not exceeding 10 minutes).
3. The video file must be submitted to the conference organizer no later than August 31, 2025. Uploaded the video file (.mp4)
Poster Presentation Guidelines:
1. Each poster must present a single topic on one sheet, with dimensions of 80 cm in width and 100 cm in height.
2. Each poster presentation is allocated 10 minutes in total.
– 5 minutes for the presentation
– 5 minutes for the Q&A session
3. For online presenters, please submit a pre-recorded video of your poster presentation (not exceeding 5 minutes).
4. The video file must be submitted to the conference organizer no later than August 31, 2025. Uploaded the video file (.mp4)
All presenters are required to upload their presenter biography file to the EasyChair system by August 31, 2025.
